About Mary’s Nutritionals Products
Whole-plant hemp extract is a combination of the most prevalent therapeutic, activated compounds in the hemp plant. Preclinical trials over the past four decades have found that cannabinoids, like those found in hemp extract, show potential to be a natural anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, neuroprotectant, antidepressant, and many other benefits.
Mary sources their activated hemp extract from its longstanding partner Elite Botanicals based in Loveland, Colorado. Elite Botanicals cultivates its industrial hemp plants in strict compliance with Colorado’s Industrial Hemp Act using organic farming principles. This partnership ensures clean products free of harmful chemicals, solvents, heavy metals, and pesticides unlike hemp materials sourced from overseas.
On-site chemists oversee the testing of all raw materials, extracts, and final products, which are held to exacting standards of purity and consistency. Paving the way, Mary’s was the first Colorado hemp product manufacturer to acquire in-house Ultra-High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) testing equipment and the staff to support it. In 2018, Mary’s will obtain a Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS) to expand its in-house testing capabilities, support ongoing research efforts, as well as contribute to the optimization of the current product suite and the development of novel offerings.
There is no official recommended serving for CBD. The information on this page is intended to serve as a good starting point only and should not be considered medical advice.
The variables on finding a universally prescribed serving of CBD are almost infinite – weight, diet, metabolism, genetics, environment, and more all affect the perfect serving for you.
Start with the lowest possible serving. Some conditions benefit from low serving size, some benefit from high serving size, and some benefit the most from somewhere in the middle. Slowly working your way up is the best way to find the proper serving size for you.
If you feel you can benefit from a higher serving size of CBD, research suggests increasing your serving every 3-4 weeks to fully process how your current serving size is affecting you.
We also recommend keeping notes on how your CBD serving size affects you – this practice will help you remember accurately which serving size helped you feel your best.
