Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol (viscosity controller), 1,2-Hexanediol (humectant and bonding agent), Carbomer (gelling agent), Triethanolamine (PH balancer), Sodium Benzoate(anti-fungal agent), Chlorphenesin (preservative), Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Disodium EDTA (stabilizer), Centella Asiatica Extract(Gotu Kola), Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract(Japanese Knotweed), Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract(Chinese skullcap), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract(Arbor tea) Quillaja Saponaria Bark Extract(soap bark), Glycyrrhiza Uralensis (Licorice) Root Extract, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract(Roman Chamomile), CBD, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Flower Extract, Fragrance.
Why Use These Ingredients?
Anthemis Nobilis Flower (Roman Chamomile) Extract: Used to relieve inflammatory skin conditions and calm sensitive skin. Provides some antioxidant protection and can be used to soothe, moisturize and inhibit the growth of bacteria.
Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract: Helps protect skin cells from damage often caused by the sun and free radicals. Since rosemary has natural antiseptic properties, it’s a superior disinfectant for our skin. Helps stimulate cell renewal, promoting healthy healing, all while infusing the skin with moisture and improving skin circulation.
Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Root Extract (Black licorice): Significantly improves skin elasticity. Hydrates and soothes skin which in turn has the potential to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
Polygonum Cuspidatum(Japanese knotweed) Extract: Has shown promise for promoting skin health and researchers say the antioxidant properties may help protect skin from photo-aging and oxidative stress.
Sodium Hyaluronate: Is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the fluid that bathes joints, in the vitreous humor of the eye and in the skin. It’s abundant in the dermis of young skin, but levels of this important compound decline with age. Helps to hydrate skin and keep it moist. Naturally found in the dermis of the skin, products that contain sodium hyaluronate help to replace hyaluronic acid lost as a result of the natural skin aging process and sun exposure.
Chamillia Senensis Leaf (Arbor tea) Extract: A powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and astringent properties. May protect against free radicals, prevent sun damage and preserve the natural moisture barrier of the skin.
Scutellaria Baicalensis Root (Chinese skullcap) Extract: Used for the maintenance of healthy skin, however, is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, as well as its ability to inhibit melanin synthesis and protect against sun damage. It is a potent antioxidant compound that is rich in flavonoids and other bioactive elements, including terpenes and volatile oils. The three most important antioxidants are flavonoids baicalein, oroxylin A, and wogonin. Oroxylin A and wogonin are particularly potent antioxidants and superoxide scavengers, creating an anti-inflammatory effect.
Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract: It is most known for is its ability to improve blood circulation, which speeds up the skin’s healing process (goodbye, pimple scars and blemishes!) and makes it effective in treating varicose veins, broken capillaries, and stubborn cellulite.
Quillaja Saponaria Bark (soap bark) Extract: Taken from the inner bark and used for it’s highly moisturizing and cleansing properties. It is used to help keep the skin soft and supple and to aid in brightening the complexion.
There is no official recommended serving for CBD. The information on this page is intended to serve as a good starting point only and should not be considered medical advice.
The variables on finding a universally prescribed serving of CBD are almost infinite – weight, diet, metabolism, genetics, environment, and more all affect the perfect serving for you.
Start with the lowest possible serving. Some conditions benefit from low serving size, some benefit from high serving size, and some benefit the most from somewhere in the middle. Slowly working your way up is the best way to find the proper serving size for you.
If you feel you can benefit from a higher serving size of CBD, research suggests increasing your serving every 3-4 weeks to fully process how your current serving size is affecting you.
We also recommend keeping notes on how your CBD serving size affects you – this practice will help you remember accurately which serving size helped you feel your best.
